Dubbed 'Live N Love', a listening party is set for the 24th of February at the Savanna in the Nairobi Hospital vicinity (right next to General Accident House). Grammy-Award winning rock group Jars of Clay are gearing up for their very first Kenyan tour. With tour dates on the 20th and 22nd of February, the tour is done in collaboration with local NGO I Choose Life, in promotion of HIV prevention and awareness. Hosted by the Pneuma Church, and supported by Hope FM and Mwafrika.com, this edition of the breakfast is set to culminate with a task for the attendance that will eventually lead to a free music recording (single) as well as corresponding promotion. Kijiji Records' outfit Hip-Hope is set for an ambitious 100 stop tour, which will run through various high schools and colleges. The tour, starting mid january, is expected to run till November '09, and will see them tour Nairobi, Eldoret, Machakos, Limuru, and Athi River amongst others. Hip-Hope is Rigga, Bupe, Michelle, Astar, Ciru and Dee.

Fresh from multiple wins at the inaugural One Gospel Awards in South Africa, Gospel crooner Webi’s fortunes continue to rise. He recently signed a recording deal with new entrant Blackman Entertainment, headed by producer David “Blackman” Muthami. Together, they are looking at completing Webi’s sophomore record no later than the end of January ’09.

Pioneered by the exciting Kubamba Krew, and broadcasting on 91.1 FM, the station will feature programs helmed by such K-Krew mainstays as Njugush, DJ Moz, Gowi Odera and DJ Soxxy, amongst others.
