One of the richest voices to come out of the worship halls of the United Kingdom in recent days is the immensely talented Muyiwa and his Riversongz ensemble. With their latest live worship project, Declaring His Love, Muyiwa and Riversongz are currently riding high and giving credence to their comparison to Australia’s Hillsongs. Mwafrika.com, in association with Twelve Entertainment is giving you a chance to win this CD, with four copies up for grabs. (CLICK HERE for details)

Declaring His Love is the second project in a trilogy that includes the 2005 Declaring His Power and the yet to be released third, Declaring His Name. The record is the first of their three albums to be recorded live and featured a 2000-strong congregation. Its lead single, Hey Ya, is a high energy scorcher that uniquely fuses the American Indian chant with contemporary Gospel sounds, something Muyiwa and Riversongz have become considerable experts in.

Muyiwa’s various musical influences (pop, rock, Nigerian rythms, soul and contemporary Gospel) result in a diversity that is reflected throughout the album. The Nigerian pop anthem, God of Miracles and the congregational Behold What Manner of Love line up at the top, as do the laid back worshipful ballads Holy is the Lord and Safe in His Hands.

EMMA Award winning producer Eddie Martin (Whitney Houston, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, West Life), does an excellent job hemming the project that is also available on DVD. Muyiwa and Riversongz are currently promoting the CD, and getting set for a worship concert dubbed the ‘What If? Worship Conference’.

A seasoned radio presenter, the Nigerian-born Muyiwa (full name Olawalomueleyiwa Adebayo Olarewaju Ishola Omoerin Tin Jogun Ola) also hosts the the flagship show "Gospel Tonight" and "Worship Tonight" on Premier Radio as well as presenting "Sounds Of Africa" on Lufthansa Airlines, and he describes their mission as Riversongz thus:

“Muyiwa & Riversongz vision is straight from the 'pinky and the brain' school... "What shall we do today Oluwalomueleyiwa Adebayo Olarewaju Ishola Omo Erin Ti Jogun Ola & Riversongz? Answer: Conquer the world!”
