"In the late 1800's U.S, missionaries were Divinely led to the Buganda people of what is now Uganda in East Africa." They started a Jesus revolution by loving people who seemed different but were really the same. Limit X is the sweetest of fruit from those missions, becoming missionaries themselves. Transcending ethnic and cultural boundaries Limit X has ministered all over the world. Their focus has now turned to "reseeding" the soil that gave birth to the ministries which took the Gospel to their homeland 130 years ago. Their newest release, Send Me is a product of renewed commitment to be missionaries here in America.
With a lively blend of ethnic rhythms, homeland sounds, and contemporary pop, Limit X's message deals with life giving hope in the midst of real life problems.
For three boys from Uganda in East Africa real life meant growing up under the tyranny of Idi Amin. Dennis Sempebwa, Isaac Rucibigango, and Paul Mutebi thought poverty and genocide were a normal part of life. In the midst of hopelessness, these talented young men found a refuge in God and music. With high aspirations, the group eventually took the name Limit X and "the sky's the limit" became their motto. God quickly united their hearts and their incredible musical abilities put them in front of thousands. They have played before diplomats, dignitaries and heads of state in sold out concerts. It is nothing short of miraculous that these three boys became young men of faith, who sing about life and the life giver, Jesus Christ.
In 1992, it was this style of music that landed them the Best British New Artist award at the D.M.I. Gospel Awards (the equivalent of the Dove Awards) as well winning of the Club 291 competition (the British version of New York's Apollo Theater).
 It is this style of music that has put them on stage this year with many American Christian Recording Artists including Andrae Crouch, Phil Driscoll, Jesse Dixon, Shirley Ceasar, Denise Williams, and Michael W. Smith. Limit X has appeared on several major television networks in the U.S. as well as abroad, including BET, TBN, and CBN.
In 1996, Malibongwe (Zulu for "Amen"), the U.S. debut of Limit X was released on N*Soul Records. Limit X performed in over 300 concerts in the U.S. and abroad. They performed in 16 states in the U.S. and in 9 nations on 5 continents.
