Marvin Sapp, Donald Lawrence, Kirk Franklin, Cece Winans, Mary Mary…Wow Gospel 2010 lives up to its reputation of bringing together Gospel’s biggest names and hits of the last one year. The 30-track anthology is the perfect industry barometer, featuring both household names and Gospel newbies.

Hezekiah Walker & The Love Fellowship Choir starts off the collection with their Souled Out hit, before the ensemble that’s Donald Lawrence & The Co. check in with Back II Eden. From their hugely successful Stand Out project, Tye Tribett & GA contribute the memorable worship melody, Chasing After You, while perennial contributor Kirk Franklin is represented by Help Me Believe off his December 2008 record, The Fight of my Life.

The vocal powerhouse that is Whitney Houston features on this year’s compilation with I Look To You, while her near namesake Israel Houghton takes it away on Saved By Grace off his debut solo album, Power of One. Others on the double-disc CD include Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Kierra Sheard and J. Moss, the latter with the hit single Restored off his latest record, Just James.

Also available on DVD, Wow Gospel 2010 will feature live and concept videos from Donnie McClurkin (The Great I Am), Byron Cage (Faithful To Believe), and Israel Houghton (I Just Wanna Say). Wow Gospel 2010 hits the shelves on January 26.
