There's little doubt that the decisions that the nation of Kenya will take in the next few months will have significant impact on the generations to come. Come the 4th of August 2010, the nation will be at a referendum to decide on a new constitution. Divergent viewpoints exist, with propaganda and misinformation in plenty in the public domain.
Over the next few weeks, Mwafrika.com will attempt to distill the views of various Kenyans through a series of articles called VOTE SMART. Here, we will engage with various leaders within our society and ask them to help illuminate the issues regarding the constitution debate, with particular reference to concerns of the church leadership.
