The Talanta Awards 2010 produced a new winner in the Kenyan category as Mr. Googz beat a strong field of contestants to emerge the Best Artist Kenya. At the awards held in Raleigh, NC on July 17th and 18th, Googz was up against Chit Chat's Michelle, Groove Award winner Jimmie Gait and nominee Gerriey Wainaina as well as Mabataro star Ben Githae. The event's Chief Guest was Kenyan representative to the UN, H.E. Zachary Muburi-Muita.
