Light Media Services was set up in 2001 to deal with film and video production. Proprietor Steve Ominde explains that it was fulfilment of a vision carried from early childhood. Steve is no stranger to the entertainment iindustry - now an established Gospel music producer, singer and composer, he came to the limelight in 1998 when he founded Soulchild Productions in Atlanta to promote, produce and distribute Kenyan Gospel music regionally and in North America.
 He returned to Kenya in 2001 and established Light Media Services. The USIU graduate has seen marked success with several production efforts becoming household names in Kenya.
