"What is of the soul is uncorrupted”

Music can heal, inspire, provoke and influence every kind of human emotion. These are the sentiments of Steve Ominde, Producer and founder of SoulChild Records. After nine years of existence, this studio has been the birthplace for many seasoned and also upcoming artistes in the local business.

SoulChild Records is behind the production of the first Kenyan artiste to win the coveted KORA Africa Award, Henri Mutuku in 2002. “We are about the music, the best sound that can be achieved on this side of the globe. Anything else isn’t in our agenda.”, says Steve.
