With a wealth of experience in production and intricacies of running a full end production studio, producer and VUC director Chris Adwar got together a number of his assosiates late in 2003, and set up Tuff Audio.

Tuff Audio has managed to curve a niche for itself in the ever growing music industry in Kenya since it opened its doors in January 2004. The studio has been involved in a variety of music projects across Kenya.

Co-owned by 4 partners: Peter (Peats), Peter (Sinpare), Chris and Pierre a French investor, Tuff Audio is a full end studio providing both audio and video production.
 
Chris heads the audio department, Peter directs the video department and Peter (Peats) is the Public Relations Co-ordinator.
 
Their Vision is:
To create a standard for Kenyan music which can be identified by the international community
 
Mission
To articulate an authentic Kenyan fusion with certain genres from western countries, South Africa , Central and East Africa that will be synonymous with the Tuff Audio beat.
 
Objective
    * To have a fully fledged recording outfit that will handle distribution and sales, a studio dedicated to different types of audio functions
    * To educate, entertain and communicate social impact and Christ through its music
    * To shoot and produce videos for musicians and full end Television adverts

 
Tuff Audio offers the following services:
    * Full audio music production
    * Shooting and directing of music videos
    * Creation of jingles and radio and television advertisements

Tuff Audio has previously worked with KORA award winner Eric Wainaina, Kanjii, Wangeci Mbogo, Pam (formerly of Sema), and Tatuu amongst others.

Voices United Choir' latest album “Lamo” was solely recorded and produced at Tuff Audio. The studio has also worked with CameraPix -Mohammed Amin foundation and Level One productions in the production of documentaries and local productions.

Tuff Audio is credited for shaping the Sudanese Music industry by creating an authentic Sudanese genre having worked with one of the biggest African musician and former child soldier Emmanuel Jal, nominee for the American Gospel Awards 2005 & KORA nominee 2005, Lam , Manasseh .

Tuff Audio is situated in Amboselli road, Lavington.
